Itinerary
- Arrive at Islamabad International Airport.
- Welcome by Expedition Asia team.
- Transfer to designated hotel.
- Explore Islamabad trail 3 and shoping . visit to mousum Sightseeing tour in Rawalpindi
- Overnight stay in Islamabad.
- Flight from Islamabad to Skardu (or drive via Karakoram Highway if weather conditions are unfavorable).
- Spectacular views of mountain peaks during the flight.
- Arrival in Skardu and check-in at the hotel. Rest and acclimatization in Skardu.- Overnight stay in Skardu.
- Depart from Skardu to Askolie in the Shigar Valley.
- Six-hour jeep ride through Braldu Gorge.
- Stunning views along the Braldu Gorge.
- Askolie, the last settlement before entering the high Karakorams.
- Jeep drve Askolie to Korofongup to JULA
- Trek to Paiyu camp, approximately 6 hours.
- First sight of Baltoro Glacier and Trango, Cathedral Groups.
- Paiyu, the last campsite before Baltoro, with recent efforts to clear pollution.
- Camp perched high with unforgettable views.
- Overnight stay in Paiyu.
Paiyu to Khoburse Camp & Urdukas Camp
- Trek to Khoburse Camp on the Baltoro Glacier.
- Lunch will be served at khoburse
- Spectacular views of Baltoro pinnacles and Paiyu Peak.
- Over night at Urdukas camp
- Trek to Goro Camp on the Baltoro Glacier.
- Tough walk, 8 hours, with rocky moraines getting smaller.
- Views of Masherbrum and Gasherbrum 4.
- Arrival at Goro Camp with a great view of Muztagh Tower.
- Overnight stay in Goro Camp.
- Trek to Concordia Camp on the Baltoro Glacier.
- 4-5 hours easy journey entering the Throne Room of the Mountain Gods.
- Glorious view of K2 emerging on the left.
- A special place and lifelong goal for many trekkers.
- Overnight stay in Concordia Camp.
- Rest day to explore base camps or take day trips. Optional visit to K2 Base Camp or Gasherbrum peaks.
- Relax, sip tea, and enjoy the magnificent views. - Overnight stay in Concordia.
- Trek to Ali Camp (5,050 m).
- Surprisingly warmer compared to Goro and Concordia.
- Fantastic views of Concordia and K2.
- Overnight stay in Ali Camp.
- Trek to Hispang (4,833 m). Long day trek, reaching the climax of the entire trip.
- Trekking in darkness, crossing ice and snow. Arrive at lush green Hispang Campsite.
- Overnight stay in Hispang.
Trek to Dalsam Pa Saicho Camp
- Trek to Dalsam Pa (4,200 m) on the Gondogoro Glacier.
- Gentle and beautiful walk for most of the way.
- Difficult descent from the Gondogoro Glacier.
- Overnight stay in Dalsam Pa and Saicho Camp.
Trek to Saitcho Camp to Hushe Village
- Walk to the village of Hushe (2,750 m).
- Two-hours walk with fantastic views of Masherbrum. - Lunch in Hushe, meet local communities.
- optional Jeep journey to Skardu, crossing the Shyok River and the confluence of Shyok and Indus Rivers.
- Overnight stay in Skardu.
- Travel back to Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
- Last day together as a group.
- Final preparations before departure.
